Where the money comes from, and where it goes
This campaign is run by volunteers on the committee. Some costs are covered by small community contributions; others the committee has paid for itself. Here's every dollar that's moved so far, and it'll stay updated as more does.
We said on the FOI programme page that we'd always account for what was actually spent. This page is that account, and it covers the whole campaign, not just the FOI programme — the actual entries, added as they happen, not a total we're asking you to take on trust.

$170 of that $200 is still held in reserve rather than committed straight away — eight more FOI applications are planned, and we'd rather spend deliberately than quickly. The $60 printing cost came directly from committee members, separately from the community's $200. This table will be updated as more moves.
About the Change.org contributions
As of 29 August, the petition has attracted roughly $694 in "chip in" contributions through Change.org's own platform. We're genuinely grateful for that show of support — but it's worth being precise about where that money goes: it's paid to Change.org, to promote the petition to more potential signers there. It doesn't reach this committee and isn't part of the ledger above. If you'd like to support this campaign's costs directly, see below.
