The petition shows scale — a public number anyone can point to, including sceptics who'll ask how many are bots or non-residents. A specific story does what a petition count can't: a named, contactable account is far harder for a government to wave away than a number on a page. A signature count is easy for a Minister's office to wave away. A specific account from a named, contactable resident is not. If something about this — the site, the process, a safety concern, what it would mean for your family, your street, or your work — is worth saying in your own words, this is the place.
Leave your email if you're open to us following up to verify details, or if part of what you've written might be worth quoting — always with your OK asked first, never assumed. Anonymous is completely fine too; we just won't be able to follow up or use it directly if you go that way.

An email address is only ever used to follow up on what you've written — never published, never shared outside the small group of volunteers running this campaign, never used for anything beyond it.
